The Australian Government is now welcoming applications for Australian Party Overflow Badges to attend COP30 in Belém, Brazil, which runs 10-21 November 2025.
Party overflow badges enable attendees to access both the green (public) zone and the blue (negotiations) zone of the COP. A party overflow badge does not make you part of the Australian delegation, does not authorise you to speak on behalf of Australia, and does not come with travel support. All arrangements and costs for attending COP30 are your own.
Preference will be given to Australians who can demonstrate their active work or research in Australian climate action or UNFCCC processes. Allocations will be limited to 4 badges per organisation. Please coordinate applications as appropriate.
Applications close midnight Wednesday 1 October.
