COP30 Australian Party Overflow Badge applications

Australian Party Overflow Badges

Applications for Australian Party Overflow Badges to attend COP30 in Belém, Brazil, which runs 10-21 November 2025, are now closed. The Australian Government is currently processing applications received before the closing date of Wednesday 1st October. We are aiming to respond to applicants in the coming weeks.

Party overflow badges enable attendees to access both the green (public) zone and the blue (negotiations) zone of the COP. A party overflow badge does not make you part of the Australian delegation, does not authorise you to speak on behalf of Australia, and does not come with travel support. All arrangements and costs for attending COP30 are your own.

Preference will be given to Australians who can demonstrate their active work or research in Australian climate action or UNFCCC processes. Allocations will be limited to 4 badges per organisation. Please coordinate applications as appropriate.
