The Australian Pavilion at COP31 will be a place for connection, collaboration and engaging conversations. This is Australia’s space – and we invite you to submit proposals for events and activities that will help create a dynamic and engaging 10-day program.
The Australian Pavilion at COP31 spotlights Australian climate and energy innovation and progress - showcasing our innovation, investment opportunities and growing clean industries. Through events, discussions and exhibitions, the Pavilion will show Australia's story, strengthen trade and investment partnerships, and demonstrate how climate action can unlock new opportunities for business, communities and the economy.
The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) invites expressions of interest that demonstrate innovative climate collaboration across diverse stakeholder communities. We particularly welcome proposals that foster collaboration with the Pacific and elevate First Nations knowledges, leadership and perspectives.
This year, the Australian Pavilion program will showcase the following themes:
- Accelerate clean energy transition and electrification, particularly house electrification
- Mobilise finance and investment
- Grow global green industry
- COP31 Pacific Partnership themes, including the Ocean - Climate nexus, Access to finance, and keeping 1.5°C within reach
- Elevate Youth and First Nations climate leadership and voices, particularly in relation to the themes above.
Each event proposal will require its own form submission. Organisations are encouraged to coordinate their proposals through one key contact person. Before you submit a proposal, it is important to note the following:
- Events will be scheduled between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm each day. The final duration and timing of each event will be confirmed with successful applicants.
